Homeopathy
Homeopathy is a method of treating disease with small amounts of remedies that, in large amounts in healthy animals or people, produce symptoms similar to those being treated. It is based on the concept that a minute dose of a substance will offer a healing effect. It originated in the late 18th century by a German Physician Samuel Hahnemann. Homeopathy is today used by millions of patients in more than 65 countries and is recommended by more than 400,000 healthcare providers worldwide, making it one of the one of the world's most commonly used systems of medicine. Despite this, it continues to be surrounded by controversy, much of which focuses on the apparent contradiction of increasing dilution being associated with increased potency. Our experience - and that of millions of others - is that the appropriate use of the correct remedy can be an important part of the healing process.
