Small Dog Day Creche - 07958 59 22 66

Under the loving care of Dog Nanny Susannah Wheeler, small, healthy, vaccinated and neutered puppies and dogs are welcomed in the day creche from 8.30am to 6.45pm, Monday to Friday and on Saturday by prior arrangement. Dogs can come for an hour, a morning or afternoon or for the whole day.

The creche - which is situated on the lower level of the Centre - offers a safe, fun environment for small dogs (under 9kg) to play, socialise and be fed with regular park walks throughout the day and scheduled afternoon naps. It can accommodate 10 to 12 small dogs comfortably.

There are no crates or cages – simply a big sofa, soft dog beds, play houses and toys. Music and TV help to make this a home from home experience.

Clients are asked to provide food, fixed leads (no flexi leads) and ideally harnesses for creche visits.

Susannah’s ethos is that small dogs benefit from making friends of their own size and being in a pack with these friends: they learn from each other and become happier and more disciplined from so doing.  Rather than being left alone at home, they can exhaust their energies in play in creche and in the park, which makes for a happy dog and an even happier owner! 

A certain level of discipline and behaviour is expected from the dogs who attend creche and Susannah reserves the right to refuse a dog who she feels would not benefit from being in creche or that might present a risk to other dogs there.

If a dog arrives in creche and becomes unwell, the owner will be asked to either take them home or,
if this is not possible, to arrange for the resident vets at the Hyde Park Veterinary Centre to see the dog and give their approval that the dog can join creche that day.

Susannah works closely with her clients so that together they can ensure that their dogs are leading the healthiest and most enjoyable lives possible.

One hour: £7, Morning or afternoon: £20, Full day: £30

Pre booking is recommended but on-the-day enquiries are always welcome and will be accommodated whenever possible.
